The US Consulate in Recife has put together a website featuring podcasts (with native speakers) and lessons for Brazilians to learn English. The twist is that it is doing so from a northeastern viewpoint which can be seen in the name of the project, Inglês Arretado. In slang from the NE, arretado (PT) is used to talk about a strong feeling of annoyance,  a courageous person or it can be used as a way to give positive value to something.

Check out their site (and the official news about the site)!
