Eight specialists from diverse areas (architecture and urbanism, economics, engineering, geography, history and sociology) give their opinion about the notion of public space in Recife and focus on themes such as: the history of public space in the city, the effect of large impact projects in the urban spaces, local ways of living, the relation between the street and the buildings, the quality of public space, urban legislation, public politics and mobility.
